Chubu University in Kasugai City, Aichi Prefecture, conducted research with the Core Energy Belt to better understand how it might impact hip mobility among subjects. The research found that most of the participants found it easier to lift their knee while wearing the Core Energy Belt compared to a conventional stiff belt. Also, most of the participants found it easier to go into the "ready position" while wearing the Core Energy Belt compared to a conventional stiff belt.
The first test examined the height of the player could raise his knee. This test was conducted with a Core Energy Belt, with a conventional stiff belt, and no belt.
The second test examined the depth a player felt comfortable lowering squatting into the “ready position”. This test was also conducted with the Core Energy Belt, with a conventional stiff belt, and no belt.
In both cases, the researchers found that the majority participants had improvements in hip mobility.
